INTRODUCTION

As we approach the “Silly Season” we are getting excited about some much needed Christmas holidays. At WarPuppy we aren’t going to be left out of the fun, so we have been exploring a whole swag of new products to add to the site just in time for Christmas.
 
November will see the return of “A Dog’s Life”, with an episode focusing on painting skin tones on various models. This is a must see episode as Adam will show you how to get awesome looking skin on humans, elves and undead. 

Behind the scenes, Mick has returned all refreshed after from his holiday and has been playing around with an uber new build for his Lizardmen. Meanwhile Adam is just back from helping run Ork-toberfest 2009 (Queenslands largest 40k and Fantasy tournament) and getting stuck into commission painting jobs. Together Mick and Adam will be coordinating Times of War 2010 in Brisbane, a multi system miniature tournament being held on 30 & 31 January 2010.

NEW PRODUCTS IN STOCK

Avatars of War:
The new Elven Light Mage kit will be in stock this month. Like the Chaos Marauder kit released last month, you get all the available options in one kit rather having to buy separate blisters. The Light Mage comes with an additional head and an optional cloak. Right hand options include a sword and a spell book. Once again another excellent kit from Avatars of War.

Chessex Gemini Dice:
We have added the complete range of 12mm, 16mm and polyhedral Gemini dice to the WarPuppy store. The Gemini range includes some really cool two tone colour combinations and feature either white or gold pips / numbers. They’ll make a great addition to your bag-o-dice. You can never have enough dice.

Chessex Dice Bags:
Constantly losing dice? Have a whole heap of dice that need a home? Then these snappy looking dice bags from Chessex are just the thing you need. Made from “real” Velour, they come in two sizes and a wide range of colours to match your current collection.

Something that caught our eye recently was the new Titan range from Crocodile Games. Designed for use with their WarGods of Olympus game, these miniatures are truly titanic! With the smallest figures in the range mounted on 40mm square bases and the rest of 50mm square, a Titan warband will be an impressive sight on the table top. The Titan Overlord forms a massive centrepiece to the warband standing an incredible 4.5 inches tall, but, in our opinion Xerxes, King of the Titans gives the Overlord a run for its money in the coolness stakes.

Boardgames:
Boardgames offer something for the whole family. They also give gamers a change away from pushing toy soldiers around a table top, whilst still retaining the tactical thinking involved in table top games. WarPuppy has a range of great boardgames from Fantast Flight Games, a leader in the industry for strategy type boardgames.

Over the next month, we will be restocking and expanding our range to include some new award winning family strategy games from Mayfair Games and Rio Grande Games. Keep an eye on the website we’ll be posting the expected stock soon.
