INTRODUCTION

Nearly half way through the year! How time flies when you are having fun.

“A Dog’s Breakfast” promises to cover myriad of topics this month. “A Dog’s Life” takes a look at alternate miniatures for use in your table top and role playing games. We examine those that we have personally used and those that look just plain cool! .

On the hobby front, Mick continues his work on the WFRP campaign as well painting up some figures to try and kill the players with. Some GM’s are just mean…. Trent has been throwing himself at his sport interests with his usual gusto. How can anyone who takes that much punishment on a football field still enjoy it? Adam has been putting the finishing touches to his Skaven Blood Bowl team and the Anima Tactics miniatures from the Light and Dark starter sets.

NEW PRODUCTS IN STORE

Avatars of War:
We have placed an order for the new Avatars of War, War Priest. Their sculptures have produced yet another high quality miniature.

This guy is armed with either a two war hammers or Holy Symbol and warhammer, however, each blister pack also comes with an optional cloak and shield to provide some variety. All going well he will be available for purchase this month.

Derivan MiNiS Dry Mediums:
Later this month sees the introduction of the Derivan Mini’s Dry Medium range.

These products are excellent for basing. The mini basing materials can be mixed with PVA glue and Derivan Minis paints to create a pre-pigmented basing material, greatly speeding up the basing process. Keep an eye out for the range hitting the shelves soon.

Rogue Trader RPG:
From the producers of Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader is another roleplaying game set in the Warhammer 40K Universe.
