INTRODUCTION

Hello again! Welcome to the latest issue of the WarPuppy newsletter.

This month’s episode of “A Dog’s Life” follows Mick through his journey in deciding on a theme and basing style for his High Elf Warhammer army. The episode highlights how an army theme can be more than grouping a warriors from the same area together or creating an elaborate story as to why all these particular units are in the same place at the same time.

On the hobby front, Mick, besides working on his High Elves, has been giving his AT-43 U.N.A. force through its paces. Adam has been working hard on a few commission painting pieces, as well as facing off against the U.N.A with his Therians.

CNC Miniature Scenery:
CNC paint & equipment racks are back in stock: Tired of losing your paint pots in a sea of black lids? Organise them on a paint rack! Easy to put together and holding a significant number of paint pots, these racks make your painting area nice and tidy. There is also an equipment holder and a parts holder for those who want to take tidy to the next level.

Mick has created a mobile hobby station by gluing a few of the CNC paint and hobby racks to sheet of 10mm MDF. This easily allows him to paint in the comfort of his living room, while storing all his hobby goodness in the garage.

Avatars of War:
July also sees the addition of the beautiful but deadly Vampire Countess to the Avatars of War range.

This model comes with two different equipment setups and head options; the multi part option seems to be coming quiet common with this range. The detail, as always, is quiet spectacular. This model will be right at home leading your undead horde into battle or applying her seductive charms against an adventuring party, reducing them to mindless thralls… mwahahahahaaaaa!

This game comes packed with high quality plastic playing pieces and loads of cards and tokens. The preview shots that we have seen of these really capture the look and feel of the Warhammer Old World. We will be keeping our eye on this game.

AT-43:
Rackham Miniatures have confirmed with our supplier the release date for the Cogs and Red Block Army box sets.

This date has been set as August 3rd, 2009. This also hopefully means that individual Cogs army units will be available for sale at the same time, or shortly afterwards.
