Episode 36 - Beastman Journey pt 1
Hello Everyone,
My name is David Potts and I'm a keen Warhammer hobbyist from Queensland.
Over the next 12 episodes of 'A Dog's Breakfast', I'll be following the development of my new Beasts of Chaos army.
As many people are aware, a new Beastmen army book has recently been released, and I'm keen to see how the army now performs against all the other armies in the Warhammer world.
The episodes will cover the modelling and painting side, as well as showing the development and changes in my army list after a series of play-test games.
Like many people, I find having a deadline is a great motivator in getting an army completed. My main aim with this beastman army is to have the army finished in time to take to Convic - a major tournament in Australia that is held in Melbourne in July.
Convic will use a modified version for the ETC (European Team Championships) system. For those unfamiliar with that system, there is a link to the player pack for Convic below.
I will be building the army as a 2600pt army initially (for Convic), as this will also give me the advantage of having a few extra units to swap in and out if I need to take the army to a smaller tournament in the future.
If anyone has any comments/tips/ideas - please email me at sales@warpuppy.com.
Thanks all!
David.
