As you all should know from the previous episode we've seen the last of Trent. But WarPuppy is looking to pick up the baton and carry on with the A Dog's Breakfast video diary following Adam and Mick's games with their regular gaming group. Mick kick's of this series again with a friendly game against Kin in Bloodbowl.
Bloodbowl is probably my most favourite GW game ever. I still recall the day I was taught how to play the 1st edition of the game by a mate, all those years ago. I loved the first ed game set with it foam 'astogranite' board. Of course the game has change alot over the years, but it's still a life long favourite of mine. I love the fact that you just pull it off the shelf and play without any effort. It's an amazing game and every dice roll is critical, creating great tension and very funny moments.
With the release of the Bloodbowl computer game and re-release of the boardgame the local Brisbane gaming community has gone Bloodbowl mad. There are a number of leagues in play and I am in preparation to join in for next season. I'll be taking to the field with my Dark Elf team, the Naggaroth Reamers. So I took this opportunity to have a practise game against Kin's experience Chaos team, so give me a taste of what's to come.
Cheers,
Mick
