Ever wished you could just spend 15 minutes picking up a Miniature game and not only having it all set up but also starting play? Welcome to Anima tactics a game with many Tactical options yet most armies consist of 2-4 units. The tactical aspect is what makes this game fun as you can make a team to suit your play style. Are you a player who like to charge into combat and tear the enemy apart or do you like to be defensive? Or maybe a balance of both? The great thing is you can do all this as terrain and unit placement at the start of the game have major effects on the game. In Anima Tactics you have Two game modes, Faction which is when your Army is Either made only from the Dark/Neutral List or from the Light/Neutral List and provides many many a Combination. Organization is when you have Characters from a certain Organization only like for example Church or The Empire, This mode has more limited unit selection but has other advantages like Organization Advantage abilities and allowing light/dark teams(So long as they are the same Organization). Game-play is all about using strategy to outwit and out maneuver the enemy so as your in the advantage. The rules are very easy to learn and pick up especially if you have Warhammer/40k or even AD&D experience. The game itself so far as I've played is very balanced and every game feels different since if you tried one trick in one game it probably won't work again. As for the models they are very well designed and unlike Certain other games your given a free license on painting schemes and you can modify around so long as people know who it is. I shall warn though that strong glue is recommended as some parts are held on by the skin of there teeth. Lastly I should note that this game is cheaper to pick up then most Miniature games and $200 already has you with everything you need to play 2 player...
