A card game is any game using cards as the primary things with which the game is played, be they traditional or game-specific cards. All the cards to be used in the game are placed in a common deck, or decks if there are specific types of cards, and then dealt to the players involved. The cards drawn form the players hand and are kept secret from the other players. Game play general involves players drawing from the common deck into their hand. Depending on what they have drawn, the player will be able to perform certain actions.

There are countless types of card games available in the market and are generally less rules intense and of shorter game time than other types of games.
